Steel weight stack plates
A weight stack typically refers to the set of weights that are used on resistance machines, such as cable machines, selectorized strength equipment, and some functional trainers. The weight stack is usually located at one end of the machine and consists of individual weight plates that can be selected and locked into place with a pin or similar mechanism. The weight stack allows users to easily adjust the amount of resistance they are lifting, making it convenient for exercises that require quick changes in weight or when multiple users need to share the equipment. Weight stacks are often designed with incremental weights, ranging from as little as 2.5 pounds or less to 50 pounds or more.
